What is the Call Barring service?
This service lets customers bar calls from specific numbers and also from specific countries.
How can I manage the Call Barring service (add and remove countries and numbers)?
You can manage the service through the “Block Numbers” screen after you subscribe with the below steps:
a. Add Number to Black List
b. Remove Number from Black List.
c. Add Country to Black List
d. Remove Country from Black List
The customer already has a STARZPLAY account, will he receives a SMS with a new username and password?
No, the customer who subscribed to STARZPLAY using his Mobile number will be still able to access to his existing account.
The customer is already in one of the eligible plans for starzplay (100, 150, 215), and he already subscribed to Anghami Offer, can the customer change to STARZPLAY?
The customer cannot change from Anghami to Starzplay if he stay in the same plan. But the customer can have STARZPLAY if he changes the current plan to another eligible plan. For example if the customer already in VIRGIN 100, with Anghami Offer, he can change the plan to 150 or 215 and select STARZPLAY to be applied in next renewal.
an existing customer with 100, 150 or 215 plan subscribes during in mid-month, will the customer get the service immediately ?
No, The customer has to wait for next auto-renewal, not Renew Now, to get the free service. There will be coming enhancement which will allow the customer to enjoy the service immediately.
Can Member Care team add STARZPLAY to customers from the Support Tool?
No, the Support Tool will not support the feature for the addition of STARZPLAY to a customer that requests it. Member care should inform customers to go to the app to activate their STARZPLAY promo. However, Support tool will display the STARZPLAY package if the customer has availed it.
I took one of the three VIRGIN bundles (100,150, 215) and I changed to another bundle (e.g. VIRGIN 70), do I get the STARZPLAY add-on?
No, customers who change to any other package (e.g. VIRGIN 70, Superstar 45), will not get STARZPLAY add-on. If the customers went back to one of the three VIRGIN predefined packages (100, 150, 215) and still on the validity period, the customer will resume his STARZPLAY add-on until the expiry date.
Is the STARZPLAY offer available for new customers only?
The offer is available for new and existing customers, details as follows:
– New customers: they have to take one of the predefined packages VIRGIN (100,150, 215) during on-boarding.
– Existing customers: they have to opt-in for STARZPLAY using their account on the Virgin Mobile App. Their STARZPLAY subscription will start with their next renewal date.
I subscribed through traditional channels (USSD, dealer App), do I still get to have STARZPLAY add-on?
No, customers have to download the App to enjoy STARZPLAY add-on.
